Black pepper is a woody, winding vine with small clusters of white flowers. The fruits are small berries, which after drying are called pepper. Black, green and white pepper are actually the same fruit of the pepper tree, only treated in a different way.

Black pepper is a fruit harvested at half maturity. White pepper is a seed from which the dark skin has been removed and is harvested at a high level of ripeness. Green peppercorns, on the other hand, are immature and often pickled.

Smell and taste: aromatic, spicy, strong smell, the taste is very pronounced, it gives food a zest and heat. By heating or grinding, the aroma is released from the pepper.
